Who Are We?
Stray Animal Foundation of India is a 501(c)3 charitable organization based in Florida, USA., All donations to help India’s stray animals are tax-deductible.
- India is a land of suffering, and its 79.9 million stray animals are faring even worse. We’re fighting to help the animals no one else will.
- Stray animals roam the streets of India, without food, veterinary care or refuge from its often punishing elements. We’re fighting to give them a chance.
- India’s animal welfare system struggles with a lack of personnel and capital to build infrastructure to help suffering stray animals. We strive to change the lives of the unspeakable and inexpressible injured street animals

- Increasing our own ability to help special cases no one else will
- Bolstering the animal foster and adoption system to match stray animals with loving homes
- Expanding animal birth control, rabies vaccination, and veterinary services to keep animals and populations safe

Our Successful Rescue Stories
This poor pup was found by a Good Samaritan who informed us about the dog. With the dog being feral, we knew we would be needing experienced catchers. After multiple attempts, they were finally able to secure him. Street dogs, especially the ones in pain, do not let anyone come near them so it was a bit of a struggle at first.
